Seeds



Seed can be a fun and nutritious part of your bird's diet, but should not be the whole diet. All seed products are not equal in quality or controlled storage policies. Seed must be fresh and without molds to be wholesome for your bird. It is wise to purchase seed which has not been sprayed with fungicides, insecticides, or other chemicals. Organic seed products are best suited to birds .
If a seed product is dated to be fresh for several years to come, it is wise to consider another brand for your bird. We recommend sunflower seeds in moderation,(2-6 per day) only for bird's who are eating pellets, vegetables, and a wide variety of balanced foods first.
